描述

Chinese sachets (xiāng náng) boast a 3,000-year history dating back to the Warring States period. Poet Qu Yuan first documented them in “Li Sao” as “woven autumn orchids worn as adornment.” Tang Dynasty imperial concubine Yang Guifei famously carried gold-embroidered sachets, creating an enduring legend. By the Song Dynasty, sachets became literati essentials – poet Li Qingzhao described “burning precious incense in golden beasts.” These embroidered pouches embody Traditional Chinese Medicine’s Five Elements wisdom, transforming herbs into wearable wellness. Today, they remain iconic symbols of Eastern living art.
